Why does the rating system matter?

Rating is an important part of the Linguabee community. When you understand what the numbers and stars mean, you'll find it easier to evaluate an interpreter’s reputation.

The rating score is one of the most important pieces of an Interpreter’s Profile. The rating score is the number in parentheses next to an interpreter’s name in a bid window. The number of 1 to 5 stars an interpreter has received over the past 12 months are part of the rating scores.

Along with an interpreter's average rating score, the Interpreter Profile also shows the number of favorite lists the interpreter is on, a link to their short bio, education, credentials, and an opportunity to send them a direct message to learn more about them before hiring.
